We all owe A BIG THANK YOU to the folks in the Army Corps of Engineers that persevered over time to create a water plan.
The plan reduces flooding in the basin by moving water judiciously through the basin and into the Atlantic Ocean the reduction of pollution from flooding that previously would have caused silt and damage due to water getting behind bulkheads and reducing siltation and improving water clarity throughout the basin.
